DELIVERANCE

St. John Vianney says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“Today I have come to speak to you specifically about deliverance. There is great need for this today, but not all are given this gift or are called to such a ministry. It is attractive to many through spiritual pride. Deliverance seems to carry with it the pride of being ‘in the know’ and above others in the spiritual realm.”

“But I tell you, just reading a book, hearing a talk or desiring to be in the deliverance ministry does not give you the gift of deliverance. Deliverance ministry is a gift from God. Many are thrown off track by those who claim to be deliverance ministers, but are really looking for self-importance.”

“Those who really are called to the deliverance ministry are chosen by God to help others; not to be in the spotlight themselves. They are humble, self-effacing and not looking for identity through titles.”

“Most priests have the gift of deliverance if they are living in the Truth of Holy Love. There are few lay people who really have such a gift – but there are many who think they do, and profess that they do.”

“Be wary of anyone who proclaims that he has any gift.”

“In short, a deliverance ministry is more than reciting a formula prayer or placing a label of ‘Deliverance Ministry’ upon yourself. It is more than intellect. It is spiritual – an interaction between human and Divine. Never presume to be more than God chooses for you. Let God decide what gifts to give you.”

LIBERACIÓN

San Juan-María Vianney dice:  “Alabado sea Jesús.”

“Hoy he venido para hablarles específicamente sobre la liberación.  Hay una gran necesidad de ella actualmente, pero no a todos se les da este don ni todos son llamados a este ministerio.  Para muchos es atractivo por el orgullo espiritual.  La liberación parece que trae consigo el orgullo de ‘saberlo todo’ y de ser superiores a los demás en el ámbito espiritual.”

“Pero Yo les digo:  el simple hecho de leer un libro, escuchar una plática o desear estar en el ministerio de liberación no les da el don de liberar.  El ministerio de liberación es un don de Dios.  Son muchos los que son desviados por quienes afirman ser ministros de liberación pero que realmente están en busca de superioridad.”

“Quienes verdaderamente están llamados al ministerio de liberación son escogidos por Dios para ayudar a los demás, no para ser el centro de atención.  Ellos son humildes, modestos y no buscan ser identificados por medio de títulos.”

“La mayoría de los sacerdotes tienen el don de liberación si están viviendo en la verdad del Amor Santo.  Hay pocos laicos que realmente tienen este don, pero hay muchos que piensan que lo tienen y profesan tenerlo.”

“Tengan cuidado de alguien que proclame que tiene algún don.”

“En resumen, un ministerio de liberación es más que rezar una fórmula o ponerse un gafete de ‘Ministerio de Liberación’.  Es más que inteligencia  Es espiritual, es una interacción entre lo humano y lo divino.  Nunca pretendan ser más de lo que Dios elige para ustedes.  Dejen que Dios decida qué dones les da.”
