Our Lady, who was perfect in every virtue, never allowed time to become Her enemy (Nuestra Señora, que era perfecta en toda virtud, nunca permitió que el tiempo se volviera su enemigo)

Mary of Agreda comes. She says: “Praise be to Jesus. My sister, take this down.”

“I am here to speak to you about the virtue of patience in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady, who was perfect in every virtue, never allowed time to become Her enemy. In this way She never thought about the past in a negative context–nor did She worry over the future. This allowed Her to patiently live out the present moment in patience and humility. She did not consider how many times She performed a simple task in the past or how long She would need to wait for something in the future. She did not fault others for their sins–thus showing impatience with them. Instead, She prayed for them.”

“When She saw Her Son suffer She did not have a bitter Heart, but was patient with God’s Will for Her and Jesus in the present moment. She endured patiently every separation from Jesus–even His Ascent into Heaven.”

“Humility and love were the basis of Her patience, and they shone through Her like sun shines through crystal.”

“Imitate Her.”

Viene María de Ágreda.  Dice: “Alabado sea Jesús.  Hermana mía, toma nota de esto.”

“Estoy aquí para hablarte de la virtud de la paciencia en la vida de la Santísima Virgen María.  Nuestra Señora, que era perfecta en toda virtud, nunca permitió que el tiempo se volviera su enemigo.  De esta forma, nunca pensó en el pasado en un contexto negativo, ni se preocupó por el futuro.  Esto le permitió vivir pacientemente el momento presente, con paciencia y humildad.  Ella no tomaba en consideración cuántas veces realizaba en el pasado una tarea simple y cuánto tiempo necesitaría esperar algo en el futuro.  No culpaba a los demás por sus pecados, mostrándoles impaciencia.  En vez de eso, rezaba por ellos.”

“No se le amargó el Corazón cuando vio sufrir a Su Hijo, sino que fue paciente con la Voluntad de Dios para Ella y Jesús en el momento presente.  Ella soportó pacientemente cada separación de Jesús, incluso Su Ascensión al Cielo.”

“La humildad y el amor fueron las bases de Su paciencia, y brillaron a través de Ella como el sol brilla a través del cristal.”

“Imítala.”
