(A Poor Soul)

The poor soul, Rachel, comes. She says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“Please understand, and help others to understand, that while there is emotional and spiritual suffering in Purgatory, there is also very intense physical suffering. At the very lowest level, the flames are as intense as the eternal flames of Hell. Satan, who is the enemy of all souls, always wants the worst for each soul. If he cannot drag the sinner into his hellfire, then he tries to influence the soul to earn long hours in the fires of Purgatory.”

“Knowing this, souls should try to overcome the slightest imperfection so as to earn a speedy reward in Heaven for all eternity. Cooperate always with grace and do not allow evil to influence you. Let the Lord take dominion over every present moment.”

(Una Pobre Alma)

Llega Raquel, la pobre alma.  Dice:  “Alabado sea Jesús.”

“Por favor, comprende y ayuda a los demás a comprender, que si bien hay sufrimiento emocional y espiritual en el Purgatorio, también hay sufrimiento físico muy intenso.  En el nivel más inferior, las llamas son tan intensas como las llamas eternas del Infierno.  Satanás, que es el enemigo de todas las almas, siempre quiere lo peor para cada alma.  Si él no puede arrastrar al pecador a su fuego infernal, entonces intenta influir en el alma para que se gane mucho tiempo en el fuego del Purgatorio.”

“Sabiendo esto, las almas deben esforzarse en superar la más leve imperfección a fin de obtener una pronta recompensa en el Cielo para toda la eternidad.  Coopera siempre con la gracia, y no permitas que el mal ejerza influencia sobre ti.  Que el Señor tome dominio de cada momento presente.”
