“Today I am here to help you to see that every soul’s spirituality can be compared to the rose. The rose in full bloom pours forth a beautiful fragrance for all to enjoy. The rose in full bloom, however, is the culmination of much effort, both from Heaven and from earth. The plant must be fed and fertilized. The soul must be fed with the good news of the gospel – mainly Holy Love – and then watered by God’s grace. Many thorns may grow along with the rose. In the spiritual journey, these would be the temptations against living in Holy Love.”

“The fragrance of the rose – the beauty of the soul – is best experienced at the center of the bud. So, in the soul, the depth of holiness is in the center of the heart which must be Holy Love. As the rose opens, the petals around it unfold and add to the richness of its beauty.”

“In the soul, the fruits of the Holy Spirit unfold all around Holy Love and add to the richness and beauty of personal holiness. The petal closest to the bud, which opens first, is the first sign that the rose will open and bloom to its fullest. In the soul, this first petal is Holy Humility.”

“El día de hoy estoy aquí para ayudarte a comprender que la espiritualidad de cada alma se puede comparar con una rosa.  La rosa en plena floración emana una hermosa fragancia para que todos la disfruten.  Sin embargo, la rosa en plena floración es la culminación de mucho esfuerzo, tanto del Cielo como de la tierra.  La planta se debe nutrir y fertilizar.  El alma debe nutrirse con la buena nueva del Evangelio –principalmente del Amor Santo– y luego debe regarse con la gracia de Dios.  Pueden crecer muchas espinas junto con la rosa.  En el viaje espiritual, las espinas serían las tentaciones para no vivir en Amor Santo.”

“La fragancia de la rosa –la belleza del alma– se percibe mejor en el centro del botón.  Igualmente, en el alma, la profundidad de la santidad está en el centro del corazón que debe ser el Amor Santo.  Conforme se abre la rosa, los pétalos a su alrededor se despliegan y realzan la riqueza de su hermosura.”

“En el alma, los dones del Espíritu Santo se despliegan en torno del Amor Santo y realzan la riqueza y hermosura de la santidad personal.  El pétalo que está más cerca del botón, el cual se abre primero, es la primera señal de que la rosa se abrirá y florecerá al máximo.  En el alma, este primer pétalo es la Santa Humildad.”
