“If the soul begrudgingly accepts My Father’s Will, Heaven is more reluctant to assist him. Perhaps he cannot accept, at all, the Will of God. This leads to an unforgiving heart and eventually bitterness. Perhaps the soul takes pride in some type of victory My Father allows, not acknowledging God’s role in the triumph. This attitude fans the flames of self-love which leads away from trustful surrender.”

“So, you see, it is the disposition of the heart in every present moment that either leads the soul closer or farther away from living in the Divine Will.”
