There are basically three forms of suffering in the regions of Purgatory (Básicamente existen tres tipos de sufrimiento en las áreas del Purgatorio.)

(A Poor Soul)

(This is the same poor soul that appeared with Jesus yesterday.)

The poor soul says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“There are basically three forms of suffering in the regions of Purgatory. One is physical, and can be as intense as the fires of Hell. That is the lowest region. Along with this physical fire is the feeling of extreme desolation or loneliness. As the soul moves to the next level, he does not suffer so much physically as he suffers this emotional abandonment, and along with it, the spiritual suffering of being separated from God. The level of Purgatory closest to Heaven is the region where the only suffering is the longing to be united with The Eternal Now – The Eternal Good. This longing is intense.”

“The souls in Purgatory suffer also from not being aware of the passage of time or how long they will be where they are. When they are prayed for or sacrifices are offered for them, their sufferings are somewhat relieved, and they are allowed some insight as to their tenure in any one circumstance. This is why prayer and sacrifice are so important to us – the poor souls.”

Note: Later this evening Our Lady visited Maureen and said: “You’re asking about the name of the poor soul who visits; her name is Rachel.”

(Una Pobre Alma)

(Esta es la misma pobre alma que se apareció ayer con Jesús.)

La pobre alma dice:  “Alabado sea Jesús.”

“Básicamente existen tres tipos de sufrimiento en las áreas del Purgatorio.  Uno es físico, y puede ser tan intenso como el fuego del Infierno.  Ésa es el área más inferior.  Junto con este fuego físico está el sentimiento de la desolación o soledad extrema.  A medida que el alma avanza al siguiente nivel, ella no sufre tanto físicamente como sufre este abandono emocional, y junto con eso, el sufrimiento espiritual de estar separado de Dios.  El nivel del Purgatorio más cercano al Cielo es el área donde el único sufrimiento es el anhelo de estar unida con el Eterno Ahora, el Eterno Bien.  Este anhelo es intenso.”

“Las almas en el Purgatorio sufren también por no tener conocimiento del paso del tiempo o de cuánto tiempo van a estar donde se encuentran.  Cuando se reza por ellas o se ofrecen sacrificios por ellas, sus sufrimientos se mitigan un poco, y se les permite tener algo de conocimiento sobre su tiempo de permanencia en una circunstancia determinada.  Es por eso que la oración y el sacrificio son tan importantes para nosotras, las pobres almas.”

Nota:  Más tarde esta noche, Nuestra Señora visitó a Maureen y dijo:  “Preguntas por el nombre de la pobre alma que te visita;  su nombre es Raquel.”
