St. Peter says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“This is how the soul opens the door to all temptation. He places himself first – God and all others last. Through love of self, he allows himself to compromise the truth. In this way, good becomes evil and evil good. Truth is obscured by personal agendas. Sin is no longer regarded as sin.”

“Through such a disordered self-love, the soul convinces himself that there is no abyss between his own heart and the Heart of God. He is able to do so, for he views everything through the eyes of self- love. Through this inordinate self-love, the soul begins to believe he can do no wrong – perhaps even that he is incapable of sin. Such a one has fallen into the grasp of the enemy of all souls.”

“The Messages of Holy and Divine Love are bearers of truth – exposing evil and disarming the unsuspecting soul who places himself in so high esteem.”

“Do not allow yourselves to fall into the clutches of this very dangerous temptation; many souls have. Pray for the truth of humility which allows the soul to see where he stands in the Eyes of God. It is the courageous soul who will do so.”

«Así es como el alma abre la puerta a toda tentación. Se pone a sí misma en primer lugar, y a Dios y a todos los demás en último lugar. Por amor propio, se permite comprometer la verdad. De esta manera, el bien se convierte en mal y el mal en bien. La verdad queda oscurecida por intereses personales. El pecado ya no se considera pecado».

«Mediante este amor propio desordenado, el alma se convence de que no hay abismo entre su propio corazón y el Corazón de Dios. Es capaz de hacerlo, pues ve todo a través de los ojos del amor propio. Mediante este amor propio desmesurado, el alma comienza a creer que no puede hacer nada malo, quizás incluso que es incapaz de pecar. Tal persona ha caído en las garras del enemigo de todas las almas».

Los Mensajes del Santo y Divino Amor son portadores de verdad: exponen el mal y desarman al alma incauta que se estima tanto.

No se dejen caer en las garras de esta peligrosa tentación; muchas almas lo han hecho. Oren por la verdad de la humildad que permite al alma ver su posición ante los Ojos de Dios. Es el alma valiente quien lo logrará.
