I wanted to let the people know that the poor souls – while they suffer much – still have a profound inner peace deep within their hearts (Quería decirle a la gente que las pobres almas, aunque sufren mucho, aún tienen una inmensa paz interior en lo profundo de sus corazones)

(Rachel – The Poor Soul)

Rachel (the poor soul who has been appearing to Maureen this week) comes.

She says: “Praise be to Jesus. I wish to thank everyone who has been praying for me; I am closer to Heaven now. See.”

(She motions towards her clothes which are not as shabby looking.)

“I wanted to let the people know that the poor souls – while they suffer much – still have a profound inner peace deep within their hearts, for they know they are saved and will eventually be welcomed into Paradise for all eternity.”

“Their sufferings are made bearable by virtue of this knowledge. These souls realize Purgatory is indeed a grace. The souls here, of which I am one, desire to be purified no matter the intensity of the flames – the desolation or the longing for God’s Presence. They realize that purification is their passport into Heaven.”

“Please understand that no sacrifice, no matter how small if offered with love for the souls in Purgatory, is unworthy. These souls await the smallest prayer – the most seemingly insignificant sacrifice which, given with love – renders relief and consolation.”

“I pass this information on to you as a grace for the relief of many. Those who practice charity towards us – the poor souls – will find their own Purgatory mitigated.”

(Raquel, la Pobre Alma)

Llega Raquel, la pobre alma que se le ha estado apareciendo a Maureen esta semana.  Dice:  “Alabado sea Jesús.  Deseo agradecer a todos los que han estado rezando por mí;  ahora estoy más cerca del Cielo.  Mira.”  Ella señala hacia su ropa que no tiene un aspecto tan andrajoso.

“Quería decirle a la gente que las pobres almas, aunque sufren mucho, aún tienen una inmensa paz interior en lo profundo de sus corazones, pues ellas saben que están salvadas y que eventualmente serán recibidas en el Paraíso para toda la eternidad.”

“Sus sufrimientos se hacen soportables gracias a este conocimiento.  Estas almas comprenden que el Purgatorio es realmente una gracia.  Las almas aquí, de las que yo soy una, desean ser purificadas sin importar la intensidad de las llamas, la desolación o el anhelo de la presencia de Dios.  Ellas entienden que la purificación es su pasaporte al Cielo.”

“Por favor comprende que ningún sacrificio es indigno –no importa lo pequeño que sea– si se ofrece con amor por las almas del Purgatorio.  Estas almas aguardan la oración más pequeña, el sacrificio aparentemente más insignificante que, ofrecido con amor, provee alivio y consuelo.”

“Te doy esta información como una gracia para el alivio de muchos.  Quienes practican la caridad para con nosotras, las pobres almas, encontrarán mitigado su propio Purgatorio.”
